Life Between Lives
If you have ever done a past life regression, you know that the information you receive can be life changing. For those of you who have never done one, it’s a way to go deep into your soul through hypnosis and receive information about past incarnations. This information is meant to help you in some way with understanding your current life and challenges.
I’ve done a few of these in group sessions and one private session. However, the real goal was to eventually get a Life Between Lives Regression. So back at the end of December, I decided to wrap up the past year and start my New Year with a regression with Nancy Canning. I promised myself that if I did this session that I would share aspects of it with my clients.
A Life Between What? What is that? It’s similar to the past life regression, in that you are relaxed deeply by a therapist who specializes in these types of sessions. You then access your most recent life, exit that life and proceed to the other side. You are able to recount who met you, who you met with, and details of the lessons your were working on. You can access other information, as well.
There are not adequate words to describe this experience - Amazing might come close. I happened to look deeply into my more distant past incarnations, my soul contracts and why I planned my life the way I did. It gave me deep insight about my relationships and the challenges I have and am facing. I met with my guides and other souls that I am close with, as well.
The experience was overwhelming in a good way. I’m still processing it and trying to understand it all. It’s not for everyone. I definitely suggest that if you are interested in something like this, you do a few group past life regressions first and really work on your ability to meditate and trust what your getting. Trusting what you’re getting is key, as is being able to hold on to what you are seeing and hearing. Keeping your focus is much more challenging than you may think.
Nancy always says that you find the time for the regression when the timing is perfect. For me that time was in December, right before I knew there would be a long period of huge changes for me. It provided me with a sense of calmness to handle these unknowns because I knew there was a purpose to it all—something important for me to learn. It could take years or weeks before you’re ready to make the leap to have one. Let me assure you, though, you will not regret it. You will come away more sure of your path, more calm and accepting of changes, and most importantly you will know that you are not alone on this journey.
